BOEING 787 DREAMLINER

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is a long range, mid-sized, wide-body, twin-engine jet airliner developed by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. It seats 210 to 330 passengers, depending on variant. Boeing states that it is the company's most fuel-efficient airliner and the world's first major airliner to use composite materials for most of its construction. Its development has involved a large-scale collaboration with numerous suppliers.

On January 28, 2005, the aircraft's initial designation 7E7 was changed to 787. Early released concept images depicted a radical design with highly curved surfaces. On April 26, 2005, a year after the launch of the program, the final and more conventional external 787 design was set.

Boeing unveiled its first 787 in a roll-out ceremony on July 8, 2007, at its Everett assembly factory, by which time it had become the fastest-selling wide-body airliner in history with nearly 600 orders.By April 2010, 866 Boeing 787s had been ordered by 56 customers.

The aircraft was originally scheduled to enter service in May 2008, but production had been delayed multiple times, and in August 2009, the scheduled service entry date was pushed back to the fourth quarter of 2010.The aircraft's maiden flight, originally planned for August 2007,took place on December 15, 2009 in the Seattle area. The 787 is currently undergoing flight testing with a goal of receiving its type certificate in late 2010.

TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE

The story opens with the revelation that Seattle, Washington is being plagued by a string of murders, which Edward suspects is caused by a new vampire that is unable to control its thirst for human blood. As Edward and Bella apply to colleges, Bella explains to Edward her desire to see her friend, Jacob Black, a werewolf. Although Edward fears for her safety, Bella insists that neither Jacob nor his wolf pack would ever harm her, and she begins visiting him occasionally. Meanwhile, Alice Cullen has a vision that Victoria, a vampire who is hunting Bella for revenge, has returned to Forks. A few days later, Edward proposes to Bella and, despite harboring an aversion to marriage, she accepts.

Bella and the Cullens soon realize that the Seattle murders are being committed by an "army" of newborn vampires, controlled by Victoria. The Cullens join forces with the wolf pack to combat this threat. As everyone else prepares for battle, Edward, Bella, and Jacob camp in the mountains, hidden during the battle, where they are later joined by Seth Clearwater, a young wolf pack member, to wait out the fight.

In the morning, Jacob becomes upset when he overhears Edward and Bella discussing their engagement and threatens to join the fight and get himself killed. To stop him, Bella kisses Jacob and comes to realize that she is in love with him as well. During the battle, Victoria tracks Edward's scent to Bella's forest hiding place, and Edward is forced to fight. Edward manages to decapitate Victoria and her vampire army is destroyed. Afterwards, Bella explains to Jacob that while she loves him, her love for Edward is greater. After receiving a wedding invitation from Edward, Jacob runs away in his wolf form to escape his heartbreak over Bella's decision to become a vampire.

THE A TEAM

Four American soldiers who are in Iraq are sent on a mission to recover plates for printing 100 dollar bills that were used to print a billion dollars. After doing the job and returning to the base their commanding officer is killed in an explosion and the plates are stolen by another operative. They would be court martialed and sent to different prisons. 6 months later, the leader, Hannibal Smith is visited by a CIA spook who tells him he knows where the man who took the plates is and wants him and his men to recover it. So he helps him escape and he breaks out the others and they go after the plates. But after doing it, they discover that the spook might not be ok. And a military intelligence officer who was involved with one of them is pursuing them.

MERCEDES MAYBACH

Daimler added the Maybach Landaulet -- an open-top version of its Maybach 62 S -- to its lineup for 2009. Maybach will produce only a handful of the cars for a select few customers with exceptionally deep pockets.

True to the tradition of exclusive landaulets, the roof of the car can be opened fully at the rear, while the driver's compartment remains completely enclosed. The passengers are then able to enjoy the sky above.

Maybach engineers have removed the rear roof module in order to afford passengers an unobstructed view of the sky. The side walls remain, and have been reinforced with an integral tubular steel structure. As these measures have not altered the silhouette of the luxury saloon, the complete interior with its reclining seats remain unchanged.

When closed the black soft-top of the Landaulet rests on the frame formed by the roof bows, and is wind and weather-proof. When requested by the passengers, the driver operates a switch in the centre console.

The roof opens electro-hydraulically and is stored on the parcel shelf in the rear. Opening and closing the roof takes 16 seconds. The chauffeur is able to enclose the folded roof with a fitted leather cover, which both conceals the roof mechanism from view

The Maybach Landaulet study is powered by the uprated V12 engine that Maybach engineers developed for the Maybach 57 S and Maybach 62 S. Thanks to twin turbochargers and water intercooling, the V12 develops a maximum output of 612 hp and 738 pound-feet of torque.

AUDI R8

Audi unveiled the R8 -- its first ever mid-engine sports cars -- for the 2008 model year and beyond. Sales began in the first half of 2007 for the United States and Europe.

The car has a 420 horsepower high-revving V8 engine and all-wheel-drive. It uses the mid-engine Lamborghini Gallardo platform and costs $114,200, positioning it squarely against the BMW M6, Porsche 911, and Aston Martin Vantage.

The car features a choice of LED or Xenon headlamps surrounded by LED running lights and indicators. LEDs are also used in the engine bay to make the impressive V8 visible even at night.

Both a standard manual and an automated manual transmission are offered. Claimed zero to 62 mph time is 4.6 seconds, though this number is likely conservative.

The interior has a driver-oriented cockpit architecture, integrating the driver between the dashboard and the high centre console. The instrument panel above the console is angled slightly towards the driver. The flat-bottomed steering wheel is a typical feature of the sportiest Audi models, and also enables comfortable sports car entry and exit.

The sports seats are trimmed as standard in a Leather/Alcantara combination, or optionally in full leather. Alternatively, the R8 can also be fitted with bucket seats, specially developed by quattro GmbH. There is plenty of room for the two occupants, with comfort levels well beyond the norm of high-performance sports cars. There is space behind the seats to stow large bags, or even two golf bags. The luggage compartment at the front has a capacity of 100 litres.

With numerous trim variants and applications in Piano finish or Carbon sigma, there are few limits to the range of customisation options for the interior.

ROLLS ROYCE PHANTOM

ROLLS ROYCE PHANTOM...

The Rolls-Royce Phantom is an ultra-luxury sedan launched as a 2003 model. It is the first Rolls-Royce car designed and built under the ownership of BMW, which acquired the company in 1998.

Despite its classic looks, the Phantom makes use of some pretty advanced technologies. The sedan is built on an aluminum space frame, making it around 500 lbs lighter than its nearest competitor -- the Mercedes Maybach.

Of course, the car is sill relatively heavy at 5,798 lbs, and that's where its 6.75 liter V12 engine comes in. Producing 453 horsepower at 5350 rpm and 531 pound-feet of torque at 3500 rpm, the powerplant propels the Phantom to 60 mph in just 5.7 seconds.

Despite being engineered by BMW, the Phantom shares just 15 percent of its components with the 7-Series. BMW made sure the Phantom had completely unique styling to differentiate it from the 7-Series and other Bimmers. The intention was to avoid experiencing something similar to the "upmarket Mercedes" stigma attached to Maybach luxury series.

Fitting with its exotic car status, the Phantom has a number of unique features. These include reverse-hinged rear "suicide doors," pop-out umbrellas hidden in the doors, a retractable hood ornament, hydraulic motors to close the rear doors, "RR" logos that float upright on the hubs independent of the spinning wheels, and last but not least, a "power reserve dial" instead of tachometer, indicating how much of the engine's power is left available to the driver.
